Self-build Filterpaks - cost effective dust filtration !

Priced at only $14995, Self-build Filterpaks are ideal for a new company starting out,  that doesn’t want the mess and poor extraction results (affecting health) by using numerous small portable ‘Dust Extractors' (many of which should more accurately be called VFD’s ! (Very Fine Dust making ie leaking machines).

There are hidden costs to consider when operating an unhealthy workplace due to inadequate dust filtration. If you know your workshop is not really up to scratch, your visiting Worksafe advisor may think so too, not to mention your staff.

Current Health & Safety mandates require you can prove your dust filtration is working correctly, demonstrate it was correctly designed in the first place by knowledgeable personnel, and,  that it is still efficient and fit for purpose, ie. your staff are protected and operating in a dust free environment a year after it was installed.

·        Bottom Feed: large particles drop directly into the bottom hopper without touching the socks, reducing wear and extending replacement time cycles.  (5 - 10 years is common for our filter units before replacement needs to be considered)

·        Expandable modular design: remove the end panels and add another module as your business needs increase. You can continue to add another 2 or 3 if you wish, and you have space!

·        Ability to convert to ‘Reverse Air Cleaning’ to increase capacity at a later date if required, while taking up no more space.

·        Suitable for inside or outside installation – fully weatherproof- no extra panels needed.

These units are designed for non-explosive dusts – i.e. they have no explosion release membranes: the plastic dust bags would simply blow off the bottom were an explosion to occurr.

If used for explosive dust (eg. sawdust), consideration should be given to location, so the dust filter is outside, away from foot traffic and in a location where any fire would not pose a risk to staff or others nearby.

The Filterpak comes as standard with:

• plastic bags for dust collection, but the unit can be lifted on its telescopic legs to accommodate a large dust collecting bin, and/or fitted with a Rotary Valve option.
• Quality fan 5.5kw or 7.5kw, manufactured in Denmark. The fan is Heavy duty, with 4mm steel impellor, self-cleaning material handling - backward inclined blades to shed debris. Aerodynamic intake, statically and dynamically balanced 
• Duct from fan to filter is included
• Supplied with all nuts, bolts, sealant (even the sealant gun) and simple easy to follow assembly guide

Due to the design and relatively large filter area, these dust extraction units require no additional cleaning or shaker accessories. The only moving part is the fan impeller.
